I am not actually required to attend to this seminar but the group who conducted it was really kind to our group and gave us one hour of their time which became our seminar time slot. This is why we would also like to return the favor. :)
I really enjoyed the seminar. There were two speakers and both explained briefly but clearly the features of MS2010. Although sometimes they present features which are already existing in MS07, I still enjoyed it because I'm learning new functionalities that I haven't even knew was present in the MS version that I have.
What really kept me interested is that my dad just bought MS2010 for his laptop and since it could be installed in three computers, I could have a copy as well. :) I was thrilled to find out features which I could use.
The features that I really liked was: MS Word could now be used somehow as a photo editor! (I dont have to photoshop the images that I have to put in the document in my projects and paper works) and also, excel have added functionalities that is helpful in statistics and the MS powerpoint also has additional animations included.
The speakers also gave away three MS shirts. Too bad I didn't get one. Haha. But all in all, even though there were only few of us left there(it was already past 6pm then), the seminar was very interactive and I learned a lot. :)
However, I'm also kinda disappointed because I wont be able to use MS2010 since we're already in the revisions part of our thesis. It could've been very helpful specially in the documentations part, the screen specs and such. :|
